Booting issue AXC F 2152

Currently, the AXC F 2152 is used in multiple consumer applications for water flow measurement and total consumption reporting, sending a daily report to an FTP server and sending an SMS text message to a government agency that regulates water resources in Mexico.

They have reported to us that at one of this measurements points the AXC F 2152 controller has failed, trying to start with the boot LED flashing red for a few moments, and then it turns off, and the AXC F 2152 does not start.

And neither no other led lights up, but when it’s ping it, responds correctly, but however through the PLCnext Engineer it is not possible to connect or go online.

We have thought that perhaps with a Master reset it could be corrected, however by doing this we would lose some special codes that the regulatory government agency provided to each customer to distinguish them in their codes in the form of a key and these have been placed in the program and do not can be backed up or copied, since they are unique. We want to see if it is possible to reset or somehow boot the AXC F 2152 again.

    Hello.

Can you log in to the plc via ssh (PuTTY, WinSCP or etc)?

If you do, than you can look at /opt/plcnext/logs/Output.log and use shell command dmsg.

It will assist you while diagnose and locate issue in first approach.

The way to backup project may vary depends on common system settings.

And will require more detailed exploration for your case.
