Using DALI 2 module with DALI Cockpit software

Hello,

I am trying to use the DALI 2 module with DALI Cockpit software as described in the manual of the DALI_Basic library manual: https://www.plcnextstore.com/eu/app/1168

I came across a problem:

I configurated the Idle Task in the PLCnext Engineer with DALI Server configurated as shown in the manual. The arrInputPD and arrOutputPD variables assigned to the inputs and outputs of the module are visible on the OPC UA server. The DALI Server is activated. When I try to connect to the DALI Bus interface using the DALI Cockpit, I am able to login to OPC UA server but after that I get the message "Unable to open selected DALI bus"

Is there anything else I need to pay attention to when attempting to connect to DALI module using the DALI Cockpit program?

    Hello,

    You have to check name of DALI server FB's instance name in your PLCnext Engineer Project, and set the correct path to this instance (including POU's instance name in which this FB is) in DALI Cockpit when configuring DALI bus Interface.

    Which version of DALI Cockpit are you using ?

    The version I am using does not have the same options as you.

    I was able to connect to the DALI interface using the Cockpit but I always get the DALI Bus error when I try to address the devices. I tried the devices with DALI controllers with and without internal DALI Bus power supply.

    I was able to configure the groups using the USB - DALI converter. After that I made a small PLC program that turns that group on, and off. The program works fine which proves that everything is fine with DALI bus and DALI bus power supply. But still, when I try to do something using the DALI Cockpit I get 'DALI Bus Error' message.
