Uploading an HMI Program to the Touch Panel

Hey community, I'm having a difficult time finding answers on how to actually upload the program we created in PLCnext Engineer to the Touch Panel. I've search for documentation and the manuals on the touch panel and I think I'm missing something. Our program is only opening in the simulator. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, PLCnext Engineer projects are suitable for web hmi panels, which can access url address of plc.

In this case, on web hmi panel you only set exact url address of page you need to connect. there is no project transfer in fammilar way.

  • I have been using for years a PLC that has is own WEB HMI like the PLCNext. You only need a Touch panel that include a WEB browser. You can find many option in the market. The factory suggest me to use comfile technology HMI. The are ok. However like a phone or a tablet to capture data is complicated. You have many options in the market I believe that Advantech algo has some options. You can use any tablet, phone, etc. You only requires a Web browser

  • I have the Phoenix TP 6156-WHPS display (1190421). My understanding was that it was supposed to have a web browser, however I'm having difficulty locating any settings where I can set a URL to display our HMI Web server application.

That HMI is intended for Visu+ applications, not for web-based applications:

For more information about that HMI, or to get help selecting a suitable HMI for web-based applications, please get in touch with the Phoenix Contact office in your country, and they'll be happy to help.
