AXL F BP SE4 LEDs flashing green
Hey Guys,
I have a question.
I am using a AXL F BP SE4 module carrier with one AXL SE DI16/1 digital Input module, one AXL SE IOL4 IO-Link Module and two AXL SE SC Module covers.
Everything is working fine, however the LEDs on the carrier keep flashing green. So the carrier receives no communication from the controller.
I have read here:
https://www.plcnext-community.net/forum/#/discussion/402/axioline-diagnostic
That it is because the modules are only inputs. I have also tried the workaround and used one IO-link port as an Output. This works somewhat. The LEDs for the DI-Module and the IO-Link-Module stay green. The LED for the covers keeps flashing, presumably because there is no communication whatsoever.
So my question is: Is there a way to keep the LEDs for the Covers from flashing? It seems to work like intended, but it looks a bit off having these flash all the time :) . Or am I missing something entirely?
I hope you can help me.
Have a nice weekend!

Hello!
Are you sure there is no misunderstanding of what type of module SC or SC-A you use?
And take a look at SE modules placement in the bucket once again, please....

For my luck it was only troubles I met with SE in practice till now.

Dear Malte,
this is indeed the default behaviour of the "passive" slot covers and also described in the datasheet of the backplane.
The idea is to identify directly those modules, but I do understand that this might be confusing or not intended.
However, there is no parameter to change this, the only option is to use an active slot cover (SC-A)
Have a great weekend,

Hello,
Ok, so everything works fine. Thats great news.
Thanks for your help!
All the best,
