How Do You Approach Troubleshooting in PLCnext?

Hey everyone,

I am new to working with PLCnext & I am diving into some projects that involve setting up & troubleshooting. I have been reading through the documentation but I am still not entirely sure about the best approach when things go wrong. I understand the basics of the system but when it comes to debugging or finding out what is causing issues, I tend to get a bit stuck.

I am curious to know how you all go about troubleshooting n the PLCnext environment. Do you have any strategies, tools or workflows that you swear by when diagnosing problems? Any advice on common pitfalls to avoid or quick tips for speeding up the process would be helpful!

Also, just as a side note, I have been brushing up on some programming concepts for my upcoming interviews and I came across a list of python interview questions that I found pretty useful. Has anyone else had to tackle those in an industrial automation context?

    What aspects of PLCnext Technology are you looking to troubleshoot? e.g

    • PLCnext Engineer (IEC 61131 project)
    • Functions written in C++, C#, ~MAtlab Simulink etc and managed via the ESM
    • Apps and services on the device written in other compatible languages (e.g Python)
