Hello Sir Now we meet an customer who want to know more about OPC UA server and eHMI information based on PLCnext. there are serveral topics they care about : 1.we know OPC UA Server can be devided to several types, does PLCnext OPC UA Server belong to embedded OPC UA server ? 2. How many OPC items does PLCnext OPC UA server support? Hi Kevin, I’ll try to answer your questions as best as I can:

                                               1. The first one is not completely clear for me. At least in the context of PLCnext we're talking about an embedded OPC UA server as it runs on the Control.  

                                               2. We don not have a fixed number of UA items, it depends on the overall load of the PLC.

Maybe this discussion might help you.

                                               3. The eHMI (in fact the nginx webserver) is not bound to a core, it is scheduled as non real-time component from the OS itself.
