Add controller in profinet - AXC F 3152

Hello colleagues,

the idea: 

I would like to connect an AXC F 3152 as a master to several different controllers (ILC, AXC 1050, AXC3050) via profinet, and read their process data. Then i would like to write this process data from the axc f 3152 with plcnext into an SQL database.

1st problem:

When reading the profinet participants with the AXC F 3152, the controllers cannot be added. The controllers are found on the network, but cannot be added (hourglass loads briefly). Can it be due to an outdated firmware of the different controllers? I can easily add an AXC F 2152.

Hi Simon, PLCnext Engineer includes Profinet device definitions for some versions of some of those devices: 2020 07 17 21 05 16 You can see why the AXC F 2152 was not a problem - every firmware version of that device is included here. For the AXC 1050 and ILCs, it is expecting the firmware version to be at least 3.0.0 and 4.0.0 respectively. You could try upgrading the firmware on those controllers. Whether this is possible will depend on the hardware version of those devices. I am not sure why the AXC 3050 is not included in PLCnext Engineer at the moment, but I will check and let you know. ~ Martin.

Hi Simon, I have just found out that the AXC 3050 cannot be imported as a Profinet device in PLCnext Engineer 2020.6. This is planned for PLCnext Engineer version 2021.0, due at the end of this year. ~ Martin.
