AXC_F_2152 startup problems

Hello all, I am attempting to fire up an AXC_F_2152 following the quickstart instructions, but I cant get it to show up in PC Works Engineer, it also does not respond to pings or SSH, I double checked on my router and it doesn’t even show up on the device list (192.168.1.10 or otherwise). The SD card is installed and the device is powered up, however, all I get is the boot light blinking at ~3Hz (nothing else illuminated). I checked the documentation and this signifies the device is booting, which I would normally believe… but its been like that for almost 6 hours. I suspect I may have a firmware problem. any advice? Thanks! Riley Chicci

Did you update the PLCnext firmware ? I had similar stability problems with v1.0, and now it is fine with v1.01 https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_content&view;=article&id;=222:firmwareupdate-axc-f-2153&catid;=18&Itemid;=251⟨=en

Hello Riley , was your device previosly working? or is this the out of the box state? Can you check the writeprotection button on the SD Card? The controller needs to be able to access/modify SD content…

I don’t know if this is the out of box state or not, I got it from a co-worker, but this was as I received it. I checked the write protect switch on the sd card and it was in the correct position. I would try updating the firmware to the latest version, but the device wont respond to pings or SSH requests. Thanks!

Hey Riley, please try inserting the SD Card into a cardreader (not windows System or software that can handel ext4).

And delete the working and upperdir.
Put the card back into the Controller and boot it up.
If this still fails. Try these steps: Give the controller some minutes between powerresets.
