In my project, I have to interface AXC F 2152 with Versamax Profinet IO Device (IC200PNS001) in redundant AXC controllers. I have successfully interfaced with single AXC F 2152 controller and able to read all data from IO device. But when I’m enable the S2 redundancy in PLCnext Software, it is throwing error that IO device is not compatible. Please someone suggest me what configuration changes required to interface the IC200PNS001 device with redundant AXC F 2152 controllers???
Hi Konda, it might be, that your device does not support the “S2” Redundancy mode or does not include the key in the GSDML. PLCnext Engineer checks the GSDML for the supported features and if there is a feature used, which seems not to be supported, it will come up with an error. Below the key taken from the GSDML from our AXL F PN BK TPS < SystemRedundancy DeviceType=“S2” MaxSwitchOverTime=“3” RT_InputOnBackupAR_Supported=“true” S2MaxInputOnBackupDelay=“2” NumberOfAR_Sets=“1” MinRDHT=“3” DataInvalidOnBackupAR_Supported=“false”/ > In the GSDML of your device must be a similar key, or it might be not supported. Hi Frank, Thanks for the response. I found following statement from GSDML file Will it be sufficient to act as S2 redundancy enabled device?? I have been working with this Versamax Module for long time and same module is using with Rx-3i PLC system ( Emerson, Formerly GE-IP) in hot standby redundancy. Also please find the attached GSDML file (change format from .pdf to .xml). If possible please add this module in AXC F 1152/2152 redundancy backup for analysis. Expecting some solution to through my requirement.

The device does not support the following feature: RT_InputOnBackupAR_Supported Please contact the vendor of the device if they offer a version with this feature supported. Of course we will improve the diagnostic message of the GSDML validator. Hope the helps, Frank
