AXC F 3152 firmware 2020.3

Dear PLCnext team, We would like to get the AXC F 3152 firmware 2020.3 now.

We have a small issue on AXC F 3152 and want to try re-installation of the firmware to recover the AXC F 3152. May I have the AXC F 3152 firmware 2020.3 ? I tired to find the firmware in web site, but I couldn’t. Sincerely,
Hiroki Kannon

Hello Hiroki Kannon,

I will see what I can do.

But what kind of issue are you running into?
Is it not possible to do a Type 2 Reset?

Power down , press and hold the reset button , power up and hold reset button (30s).
Then let it do a complete factory default reset. takes quite long! kind regards,
Oliver

Dear Oliver-san, Thank you for your reply. > But what kind of issue are you running into? My issue is that AXC F 3152 Ethernet port “X1” works as “X2” port, and vice versa.

When I set IP address “192.168.7.57” on AXC F 3152 “X1”(lan1) port, I coundn’t access
the “X1” port with “192.168.7.57”. However, I was able to access the “X2” port with “192.168.7.57”. In addition, when connecting PLCnext Engineer PC to the AXC F 3152 “X2” port, I couldn’t set the
IP address to AXC F 3125 thorough PLCnext Engineer. I captured packets between PLCnext Engineer
and the AXC F 3152 and confirmed the PLCnext Enginner sent PN-DCP broadcast packet. But, the
AXC F 3152 did not responded to the PN-DCP packet. Meaning that the AXC F 3125 “X2” port does not
work as PROFINET port. My understanding is that the “X2” port should work as PROFINET port. > Is it not possible to do a Type 2 Reset? I just tried to the Type 1 reset, but the issue still exist.
Type 2 reset not yet, so I’ll try the Type 2 reset. BTW,
this issue have not seen on another AXC F 3152.
It’s seen on a particular AXC F 3152, so far. Sincerely,
Hiroki Kannon

Hello Hiroki, please keep in mind that X1 and X2 have to be in seperate subnets.

Please also check the FW Version of your AXC.

If possible please upload the contents of the /etc/network/interfaces file to check what has been assigned to the ports specifically.

kind regards,
Oliver

Hello Oliver-san, Thank you so much for your additional advice. I confirmed that this issue was recovered by the Type 2 reset.

Thanks to your advice, finally the AXC F 3152 have worked well, so far. If possible, could you please give me your idea why the issue happened.
(I would like to avoid such issue in future) After I received the AXC F 3152, I first changed the IP address for Port X2 as below;
IP address : 192.168.7.57
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Default GW : 192.168.7.1
This configuration is same subnet as default Port X1 network configuration.
It violates your comments in the last thread. Is there any possibility that such configuration might cause IP address config corruption that I saw ? Sincerely,
Hiroki Kannon

Hello Hiroki Kanon,

please make sure that both adapters are using a seperat Subnet and Gateway.

example
X1
192.168.1.10
255.255.255.0 X2
192.168.2.10
255.255.255.0
kind regards,
Oliver
