Axioline AXL A04 Error message not showing in virtual AI

Hi,
I am working on a diagnostics function for an analog output card (AXL F AO4 1H).
According to the documentation, any errors should be reflected on a “virtual” AI channel corresponding to the actual output channel:
image.pngIn my case I am running the card with no supply voltage, so I expect to see the value 16x8020 on all “input” channels of the output card.
image.pngAs you can see, no errors are shown.

HOWEVER, the error are shown as PDI if I run a check in the error register:

This is according to the same documentation as shown above, but in chapter 15.3:

So, I am somewhat confused here because the same error is reported fine in the analog input card which also is without supply voltage

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug somewhere?
I am running 2023.6 on a 2152-controller with 2023.6 firmware.

This might be a problem with the documentation of the Analog Output module, or it might be a problem with the behaviour of the Analog Output module, or (less likely) it might be a problem in the controller, or (even less likely) it might be a problem in the application. The best way to have this investigated is by a technical specialist in your local Phoenix Contact office, so I have forwarded this to them and asked them to get in touch.

Any updates on this, ?

Sorry for the delay.
I have just been told that this is a known issue in the firmware of the AXC F x152 controllers.
This issue is currently scheduled to be fixed in firmware 2024.0.
I have also asked that this be added to the list of “Known Issues” in the PLCnext Info Center.

Thanks a lot, Martin!
