please check that the CodeMeter service is running in the Background.
Maybe you have some antivire software that is blocking its execution?CodeMeter Runtimer Server

Code Meter Controll CenterShould be found in the Task Manager.
And if you open the “Code Meter Controll Center”
You should be able to see a “PLCnext Engineer Basic License”Please confirm this. Edit:
Please also check the Checksum of you PLCnext Engineer installation File.
And
Check that your Account has sufficent rights at the installation location and CodeMEter installation location.
Depending on your system setup you might need Administrator rights to install/start the Engineer.

Hello DNA, for more information , the devellopment need an “CmDust-Result.log” Log file. To get the log file start CmDust . Since there are so many of the log files here, can be assumed that by default such a process is running, which will probably also bring code meters to a regular end. Hello DNA, Thanks for the quick response and the LicenseLocks data. After analyzing the log file by development, the cause could be found, which is why the CodeMeter service could not be started. A core driver was identified on the system that can be used for reverse engineering CodeMeter. Since we protect our customers’ software and our own against such attacks, there are various protection mechanisms, among others. also in the file ‘CodeMeter.exe’. These struck here now and prevented the start of CodeMeter. Specifically, the driver component is C: \\ Windows \\ SysNative \\ drivers \\ multikey.sys, which we have classified as very suspicious. So there is a driver on the system that is used to either attack protected software or to use cracked software. As long as this driver is available on the system, the CodeMeter service cannot be started and therefore the protected software cannot be used. As soon as the software that brings this driver has been uninstalled, you should be able to install CodeMeter again. Alternatively, CodeMeter could be installed on another, clean system and then the protected software used there. Best Regards Eduard
