Hi, I get a certificate error on the web browser when I’am using web HMI. How can I update the certificate so it applies to my project? The ip-address on the PLC is changed from default 192.168.1.10 Best regards Stefan

Hi Frank! I use internet explorer on Phoenix contact BL2 PPC 7000 and HMI webserver from PlcNext on RFC4072s. I get the same error with Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge browser. The certificate that the browser reads is attached. (screenshot from firefox) Br Stefan

Hello Stefan,

you can replace the Certificate of the PLC using the WBM with your own Cert.
Have a look at the handbook for details.

so what error do you get?
usually you can accept non-certified certificats anyways.
Or you can import the Cert. into your browser to avoid the Warning and need to do “accept anyways”

Hi Oliver, Thanks for the tip, I created a new certificate and changed it on the controller. After adding the certificate to windows PC everything looks fine. Off course it is possible to accept and skip the warning but it looks nice if the certificate is approved. Br Stefan
