Hi All,
I am trying to convert a project built with PLCnext Engineer 2022.3 to the 2023.0.5 version.
I am using Modbus TCP 11 library that at first produces the SEM1100 error which was mentioned also here: https://www.plcnext-community.net/forum/#/discussion/3136/updating-libraries
After updating library to Modbus TCP 12 I get a CILG0001 error every time I try to build the project, that no matter what I tried to change does not get resolved.
Any insight/help on this?
Thanks in advance
Vaggelis
Hi! Try Modbus TCP 13 library.
Hi! Try Modbus TCP 13 library.

Trying to add Modbus TCP 13 I get:
Could not load library “Modbus_TCP_13.pcwlx” due to a breach of integrity. (MSG_PRJ0024)
It looks like version 13 was released for 23.6

Missed that…
Does the error occur when using the Modbus 12 lib in other projects?

No, but the projects I use it in were created with 2023.0.5 Engineer version.
I suggest you’ll get in touch with the PLCnext team or Phoenix Contact support then.
The PLCnext Engineer support team have been made aware of this issue, so I hope there will be an answer soon.

Hi Martin, any news about this issue?
I understand that someone from Phoenix Contact who was involved in the original project is now working through this issue with you.

Yes Martin, the problem was resolved by upgrading PLCnext Engineer to latest version(2023.6) and using Modbus TCP 13 library.
Thanks for your time!
