Comunication AXCF2152 with ILC131ETH via PROFINET

Hello,
I wanted to communicate an ILC131eth with an AXCF2152 via profinet, do you have an example of how to communicate 4 input and output words of each one?

The first reply to this earlier question includes the steps for getting two PLCnext Control devices to communicate via Profinet:
Forum - PLCnext Community PLCnext Community The steps will be similar when one of the devices is an ILC and uses PC Worx instead of PLCnext Engineer.
If you have problems getting this working, please give more details about what you’ve tried.
Alternatively, you can contact the technical specialists in your local Phoenix Contact office, and they can give you personal support.

Dear, in PLCnext in the tree where Profinet is, I inserted the ILC131ETH, subordinate to that I create a folder
then scan the network and find the ILC135eth and insert it into my project
then I insert an array of 256 bytes, and create an input variable of that data type and an output variable.
and then I go to dap and choose those variables from input and output
first, in PLCnext is that ok?, in PCworx I don't know where these data are deposited or how to read and write them, can you show me how it's done with a couple of printed screens like I did?

Here is the answer from the Controls support team. If you prefer, you can get more help with your application directly from the technical specialists in your local Phoenix Contact office.

to get a compatible processdate exchange you need to declare the following parameters in PC Worx.
This is global data exchange array which can be used for this kind of communication.

If you want to write some data to the Controller you can use the PND_S1_Outputs Array as followed in IEC 61131 code.
test1 and test2 created as Byte.
The values will be send and can read out via. processdata in the PLCnext Engineer.
Examplecode for PC Worx:
After that have been created you can read out the incoming data in the Watchwindow of PLCnext Engineer.
You need to selectyour Input_ILC Array for that.

Thanks Martin for the explication!! I’ll try it tonight, but I think that with the help you gave me I’ll get it out on foot!

Martín, I am going to tell you what happened to me with the test, so that it can help all people in the future to be more explanatory and have a step-by-step of how the implementation was, the information that I find in manuals is very poor.
I tell you, I had to connect a Siemens PLC in profibus communicated with an AXCF1152, since a profibus module for the AXCF did not exist 1 year ago (I still do not know if it exists) I put an ILC131ETH with a Profibus module, and this ILC would communicate via Profinet with the AXCF
It should read 4 Bytes and
write 4 Bytes between the Siemens PLC and the AXC. Something that is seems simple but...
In principle, when one goes and adds the ILC in the profinet network with the IP address (it does not make sense), since then one must do a network scan and must see the ILC connected and add it to its network, this does something like eu two ILCs with the same IP address are added, therefore it is not necessary to double click on the profinet network to add the ILC, we must directly add the one that is online (perhaps that will only work if one does the project and does not have the equipment) When one is going to read the ILC, we must have it via PCworx, you have a name
I have to press "SEND" the DNS name for it to take it. In addition, for you to see the AXCF in the Profiner network, I must have enabled it in Profinet to the ILC in PCworx

I must create the array of 256 bytes
Then I create two input and output variables of the array type that I create and link them with the AXCF communication variables
in the ILC these AXCF variables will be deposited in this array of 256 input and output bytes
But I must create 2 variables with that format
The input WORD comes from the Siemens PLC, and I transfer them to 4 bytes and that is transferred to the AXCF where I see 4 bits per byte

Thanks for the feedback. I have passed this to the Controls Support team.
Unfortunately it is not possible to document how to connect every possible combination of products in the Phoenix Contact range. I am sure that this procedure will be useful for others who might want to use a similar combination of products, so thank you for this.
The technical experts in your local Phoenix Contact office are there to help with applications just like this, if you have any more questions.
If you were to get in touch with your local Phoenix Contact office, they would tell you that there is a Profibus Master module available for AXC F 2152 and 3152 controllers:
