Conversion of PND_IO_512 to ASCII String

What is the simplest solution to convert a PND_IO_512 Variable coming from a profinet device to a ASCII string? Is there a conversion block just for this that i am missing? Thank you in advance..

Hi Jason, The BUF_TO_STRING function block is probably the easiest way to do this. Let us know if you need help with that block. ~ Martin.

Thank you Martin, Yes i think i may need a bit more assistance with that block.. I seem to have it configured but i am not getting any output on that DST. I have no ERROR and STATUS remains at “0” Thank you..
