Debug on PLCnext Engineer

Hello! I am working with PLCnext Engineer (v 2026.0 LTS). While developing a program for AXC1152 and AXC2152 controllers and debugging the FBD logic, I encountered the following issue: when a BOOL variable is connected to another variable of the same type, the connection displays correctly (True in red, False in gray). However, if I connect the variable to an operator block—such as “OR” or “AND”—the connection is labeled “Unknown.” Is it possible to configure the display so that the connection between blocks also shows “True” or “False” instead of “Unknown”?

Thanks for your help!

Previously, I used the PC Worx program to program the AXC 1050 and AXC 3050 controllers, and there was no such problem there. But since the 3050 has been discontinued, I had to switch to the PLC Next series of controllers.

Hi VNIIKP,

afaik online values are only displayed between functions when you have some kind of write operation to a variable (might be an internal variable as well). Meaning the PC Worx example, you provided, will also have online values in PLCnext Engineer.

That said, you’re right, currently there are no online values on single connections between two functions.
