Hello sir one News from JSOF shows that the TCP/IP core software library developed by Treck was discovered 19 security flaws ,which is called Ripple20. you can find the detail information as follows link: https://www.jsof-tech.com/ripple20/ some of our customers who use PxC controller are very concerned about this infromation, so they want to make sure whether PxC controller(PLCnext controller and classical controller: AXC 1050, AXC 3050) use this TCP/IP library from Treck ,whether we meet the same security disk? Looking forward to your reply! Thank you in advance!
Hi, no Phoenix Contact controller uses the stack from Treck and PLCnext in particular does use the native Linux stack. By the way, we’ve an internal Product Security Incident Response Team who is monitoring the used packages for security issues and we’re constantly delivering security fixes with every FW update of PLCnext. I hope that helped. Take care Frank
That sound good, Thank you very much!
