Enter boot menu

Hi. I am trying to enter the boot menu of EPC 1522, but it asks me for a password. And the default password on the device does not work. Nor does the password for the root user (that I set earlier) work.
What password is needed to enter the Boot Menu?

Since the EPC is a PLC device, the BIOS is protected and not available. (A generic PLC is designed to serves a purpose, making changes to the BIOS might disable the device more than it would help).
To fully understand, can you tell me why you want to access the BIOS?
Maybe there is another workaround for your use case.

Thanks for the reply.
I was hoping to change the default boot location to an external bootable usb flash drive so that i could boot up Ubuntu Core 24, which i think is meant for edge devices. is that possible?

As stated before, the EPC 1522 was designed as a PLC along with security measures to serves that purpose. The security measures include locking the BIOS and disabling the one-time boot menu in order to protect the files system in the same manner as other PLC Next controllers to harden the device from external and physical attacks.
If you would like to try the Ubuntu Core 24 on similar hardware as the EPC 1522, the BL2 BPC 1501E-W-box PC (art. no. 1141843). The BL2 BPC 1501 is an open PC with unlocked BIOS and without operating system to allow you to test the Ubuntu Core 24.
