Just got the brand new EPC1522. It should have a 128GB SSD, but where is it? With ‚df‘ the biggest volume I found, is the root with aprox 20GB (out of 32GB mmc). And and other thing; how to set up the wifi? Kind regards, Wilco
Hi Wilco, I will ask about the 128 GB memory. The WiFi question was also answered here: https://www.plcnext-community.net/en/discussions-2-offcanvas/epc-1502-wifi-and-ble.html (basically, it requires a firmware upgrade that will come later).
Just got a tip from Rudy at the Phoenix NL support to use the command ‚sudo fdisk -l‘ to check all the available file systems on the unit. And there is was as ‚dev/sda‘. As I suppose it was unformatted and I did formatted it with "sufo mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda’. If the wanted folder to mount to does not exist use: ‚sudo mkdir /mnt‘. Then mount the ssd with: ‚sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sda /mnt‘. And finally check it with: ‚sudo lsblk -f‘ Case solved
Kind regards, Wilco ps @Martin; when can we expect the firmware update to use the wifi?
Hi Wilco, that’s great news, I’m glad you found a solution, and sorry for not replying sooner. On the other question, the information from that older post is still current, so we can expect to be able to use WiFi at the end of this year - probably with firmware version 2022.0.
