Error,"SLP00008","Invalid safety seal for the safety library 'Safety IEC 61131-3'."

1. As PLCnext Engineer starts I get this error: Error,„SLP00008“,„Invalid safety seal for the safety library ‚Safety IEC 61131-3‘.“ 2. CPU BF-D is blinking 1Hz red, D is orange, RUN is green. 3. AXL F BP SE4 1, 2, 3, 4 LEDs are blinking green. 4. I am using PLCnext Engineer 2021.3 (Build 4.9.232.0). 5. I can connect to PLC, icon next to AXC F 2152 is becoming red. 6. I try Write and Start Project, I get this error: Build failed: The project cannot be built. Online mode is not possible. Please help me how to setup PLC and test some program.
1. As PLCnext Engineer starts I get this error: Error,„SLP00008“,„Invalid safety seal for the safety library ‚Safety IEC 61131-3‘.“
I’m not sure what is causing this error, but if PLCnext Engineer otherwise continues running, then we can come back to this later.
2. CPU BF-D is blinking 1Hz red, D is orange, RUN is green.
You can see the meaning of the LEDs in the user manual for the PLC. This combination is not a critical problem.
3. AXL F BP SE4 1, 2, 3, 4 LEDs are blinking green.
You can see the meaning of the LEDs in the user manual for the I/O modules. Again, a flashing green LED is not a critical problem.
„The project cannot be built“, means that there are build errors. There is an „Error List“ frame at the bottom of the PLCnext Engineer window. This should explain why the project could not be built. There is an e-learning module on „PLCnext Engineer Basics“, which you should work through if you have not already. There is also a lot of information on PLCnext Engineer in the Info Center. There is also a good Youtube video series from Realpars, showing how to get started with the Starter Kit.

Point 2, 3, 4, 5 are only for information purposes for actual configuration. Main issue is with point 1. 7. I have installed PLCnext Engineer 2021.0.2 on virtual machine Windows 7, there was no error such as in point 1. I did configuration and downloaded program without problem. 8. As I start PLCnE 2021.3 (not VM) there is balloon on right/down corner with the following message: Safety notification: The language profiles could not be found. 9. When program is opened these errors are active without doing nothing (empty project): Error\tSLPP1004\tSafety violation! The language profile ‚Limited Variability Language (FBD)‘ has no valid safety seal. Error\tSLPP1004\tSafety violation! The language profile ‚Full Variability Language (FBD)‘ has no valid safety seal. Error\tSLP00008\tInvalid safety seal for the safety library ‚Safety IEC 61131-3‘. I have made temporary solution with VM, but I want to use it without VM. 10. Is there error list help? 11. Also in VM I have installed PLCnext Engineer 2021.3 but program crashes. Please find problem report attached.

You mentioned that your virtual machine is running Windows 7. What version of windows is running on the host machine? PLCnext Engineer requires Windows 10:

Please see picture. Those errors are active!

I have passed this information on the PLCnext Engineer support team. They may suggest uninstalling all versions of PLCnext Engineer from the Windows 10 machine, and re-installing the latest version. That would be worth trying, if you haven’t already.

Yes, I have done it before. Right now tried again, same errors.

Thanks for confirming. That information has also been passed to the PLCnext Engineer support team.

I have found solution to the problem. In regional settings, regional format should be United States, not local (in my case Albania). Maybe support team will make solution for that in future.

I’m glad to hear that you found a solution. I have passed this information, and your suggestion, to the PLCnext Engineer Support team. (ref: #212626)
