Ethernet IP Connection Fail After Download

Hello I use Ethernet IP between two PLC, but when i download a modification on my program, the communication Ethernet/IP stop and i need to reboot my PLC and process will stop. it is possible to reboot only the communication ? Best Regard

Hello, Can you confirm that you are using an AXC F 2152 as the Ethernet/IP device? What device are you using as the Ethernet/IP controller? There is currently no way to restart Ethernet/IP communications on an AXC F 2152 without restarting the PLCnext runtime, which will also restart the control logic. Can you please provide a copy of the file /opt/plcnext/logs/Output.log, and give the timestamp(s) of key events, e.g. download program change? ~ Martin.

Hi martin, Yes is AXC F 2152 and the other controller is Allen Bradley 1756-ENBT See below the log file a copy only the timestamps a download program. best regard Alex

Hi Alex, Our developers are working on a fix for this problem, and that fix will probably be available in a future firmware release. As I mentioned, there is currently no way to restart Ethernet/IP communications on an AXC F 2152 without restarting the PLCnext runtime, so I am afraid that there is no workaround for this problem at the moment.
