Just curious as to what happens if a firmware update on a 2152 fails. Does it automatically revert back to the previously installed version(if different from factory installed version), or is the only recovery to use factory installed version and try again?
If the bootloader fails to load the operating system, then it will try to boot the operating system from a second partition. This is described in the PLCnext Info Center:
