Firmware update problem

Hi I have 3x 2152 running here in my office.

1. updated from WBM to 2021LTS. No problems. PLC booted and running project again. (No changes to PLC program, 2020.6.2)
PLC has SD Card 2. updated from WBM to 2021LTS. After restart no program running on PLC? Cant download to PLC. See video:

PLC has SD Card PLC program in PLC 1 and 2 is almost identical. mostly IP address is different
I cant download the PLC program again?
PLCnext Engineer makes an error? (An error occurred while writing the changes to the device) How to download to the PLC now? Do I really need to reset the PLC to factory default?

Hi Emil, Can you please attach the Output.log file from one or both of the PLCs that did not start correctly?

Hi Emil, I’ve had a quick look at the Output.log, and it looks a situation that we occasionally see when upgrading to firmware version 2021.0. The 2021 firmware upgrade deletes some system files from the lower directory before installing them in a new location, but if these files have been copied to the upper directory by the user, then those copied files will not be deleted during the firmware upgrade, leading to the types of problems that are reported in the Output.log files. The solution in this case is to do a Type 1 reset - which deletes all files from the upper directory - and then re-install the application. Sorry for the inconvenience. ~ Martin.
