Hello, I have 2 separate rotary encoders I am going to interface to the INC2 module. Is there a function block available for this? I can’t seem to find one. Each encoder will be used for a reject station, i.e. when a photoeye triggers for a reject, I want to start checking for pulses, and activate a solenoid valve to reject the material when I achieve a predetermined count. I’m not sure of the best way to go about this task. Thank you.
Hi Mark, There are no FBs built in to PLCnext Engineer for this function module, and unfortunately there is no “add-in” library currently available from Phoenix Contact for this module. Of course it is still possible to work with this I/O module without FBs from us. If you need any help with that, please let us know. ~ Martin. (ref: 209603)
