How do I edit LD in the free version?

I download the free version to play around with but I don’t see to be able to do anything. I can’t open the LD editor window, and I can’t add any new subprograms. What is going on.there is no right click available on anything below the controller in the Project tree.

Hello, You can create new Ladder programs in the right-hand pane, in the Programming area, under the blue folder “Local → Programs”. The default project for AXC F 2152 already has one program defined called “Main”, which you can start with, or create your own new programs. When you first open the program you will be asked to select a language for the first sheet - if you prefer Allen-Bradley style Ladder Logic, you should choose “NOLD” (Network-Oriented Ladder Diagram). Once you have written your code you must instantiate the program in a “Task”, which you will find in the PLCnext branch of the green tree in the left pane. The default project already has an instance of the Main program in a Cyclic task. You can instantiate your program in this Task or create your own new task. Here is a Quick-Start guide for PLCnext Engineer: https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view;=wrapper&Itemid;=373⟨=en … and here are two short videos that go through the setup and programming of a simple PLCnext Engineer project: https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_content&view;=article&id;=305:getting-started-program-in-iec-61131-3-languages&catid;=80&Itemid;=383⟨=en … and here is an interactive training course which will help you get started with PLCnext Engineer (module 3 gets in to the programming part): https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view;=wrapper&Itemid;=390⟨=en Hope this helps. - Martin.

Thank you I understand how this works now. Makes sense
