Hi, A connection to the Cloud is not possible with the CLOUD IOT GATEWAY (1031235), when a Gateway-address is registered on eth0 (LAN / ETH2 Local) and eth1 (WAN / ETH1 Internet) use DHCP.
The IOT-Gateway can connected to the internet in two ways: 1.) Network Interface eth1 (“ETH1 Internet” Connector) the IOT-Gateway is a router => LAN Default Gateway should be empty. 2.) Network Interface eth0 (“ETH2 Local” Connecter) the IOT-Gateway is a one legged router => It has a LAN Default Gateway and the ETH1 Internet is not connected.
Something is confusing: It seem that Internet and Local is mixed up in the documentation.
Thanks

Here is the feedback from the original poster:
The main problem was a registered gateway on the lan side (eth0 local). Without the gateway setting the communication to the cloud works.
Hi Martin! As I understood from the original post, there is the possibility to connect the eth0/local interface to a router which have Internet access and leave the eth1/Internet unconnected with DHCP address and have both Proficloud connection and WUI access from remote? Can you confirm? Thanks!
Hello, normally this is not possible. The local LAN is for Modbus and the webUI. The connection to proficloud is establisched over ETH1. Regards, Arno
