Hello, I want to use the EM-PNET-GATEWAY-IFS (2904472) with AXC F 2152. But there is no FDCML 3.0 file to download. Can I use the GSDML-V2.33 file in PLCnext Engineer? Best Regards.
Hello chenshijin, please see the following answer from development, the GSDML file is still in work and will be available in the next 2 weeks: There is currently no FDCML V1 or V3. That’s how long we have to get by with the GSDML file. The FDCML files are in the works. Unfortunately I cannot estimate a time for the provision at the moment. A GSDML file in v2.33 will be provided in the next 2 weeks, but is then only compatible with the latest firmware of the gateway (new Profinet specification). The firmware version must then be higher than version 1.11. Best Regards Eduard
Hello chenshijin, I have a running system with the EM-PNET running. I can give you the project if you like, so you can have a look and test it yourself. There are two ways to get started: 1) via the process data channels or as ProfiNet device. Let me know what way you plan to use and I give you a small startup guide. Peter Paul

Hello Chen, I had a chat with the support for the EM-PENT Gateway today. There is coming a new GSDML file in the coming two weeks. Due to the Corona situation, things move a bit slower as usual. But you will have to check that the gateway is Rev 1/V1.2. There have been mad some changes to communication processor in the new version of the gateway to facilitate some changes in Siemens controllers. There will come a backwards compatible GSDML file in the future, but when - I can’t answer that. But I will prep a demo project with the new GSDML file so you can see how I have build the program.
