Dear Sir, Please suggest for Making AXCF2152 as HTTPS client to share data to HTTPS Server using post method . is it possible with any library with PLCNext Engineer. data points are more than 900 . Regards Chetan

Hi Chetan, The next release of the PLCnextBase library in the PLCnext Store will allow you to create a shell to call Linux commands. This means you can use command-line tools like curl. At the moment this is the best way I know of to use HTTPS commands from PLCnext Engineer. Until that version of the PLCnextBase library is available, you can start testing HTTPS post commands using curl (for example) from the command-line, if you want. ~ Martin.

Hello Martin, I tried using Curl for HTTPS post worked , data was too small , will try to work for more data. Also Customer is evaluating server solution as well . So, Can we give option to use restful services as mentioned here or any another suggestions to use restful services. Regards Chetan

Dear Sir, I am using documentation Link with Which created eHMI page and some tags and Tested in Postman successfully. (the authentication is deactivated ) But during that I have to make SSL Certificate verification = off . Can you please guide , what needs to be done to use SSL Certificate verification = on. Also How to allow certain url like http://l192.168.0.111:4200/ so that to get access to data. Regards Chetan

Hi Chetan, I guess you’re still testing the API with Postman. Based on that guess I’ve spent a minute on google and found the following How To use Self Signed Certificates. Maybe this fits also for you, otherwise there are tons of other ressources. Just keep in mind that PLCnext comes by default with a unique self signed https certificate, that’s also the reason for the cert warnings of the browser.

If you need a trusted certificate you’ve to use one of any CA (and to store this cert on the PLC), otherwise the validation will surly fail… Take care Frank
