Huy guys. I’m using 171ILC for reading modbus TCP from fields devices ( ILC as client). I used modbus_V2_04 library inside PC worx. Everything was fine. i connected ILC to modbus device successfully. But wwhen i used the funtion block ( with funtion4 as below picture) at modbus library to read register value from modbus devices. The type of data inside modbus devices was real, but the function block mentioned above has hanlded the data and divided register results be 2 word register. Then , I couldnt know how to merge them into real result like value inside modbus device. Similarly, when i want tô use ILC as sever device. how can i devide a real register ( the value register inside ILC was need sending to client) into 2 word register what were positioned function block in program.
