I/O Modules Modbus

Hello i have started building a project with axc f 2152, i have some questions regarding some libraries i could use and some modules I/O. Reagarding the libraries i am using Modbus TCP/IP and i want to use the axc f 2152 as server but i want to use different ip’s to awnser to the client for example i want to sent 0-5 registers from ip : 192.168.1.1 and 1000-1010 registers from ip : 192.168.1.18.

Is this possible? maybe use of the 2 ethernet cards of the controller? In case i want reply from more than 2 ip’s what comporment is needed?

Regarding the I/O modules i want to use 70 outputs and as i see in the catalog there are some modules with 2 wire conection and some with 1 wire conection.
My question is about the 2 wire conection the working principal of those output modules is like a solid state relay ( meaning i can conect 24 v in one terminal and when the output is active can take 24v output from the second terminal) ?

Is there any output module with build in relay contacts or optocoupler contacts?

Hi Ichristianos, hmm, interesting question, but a quite difficult to answer ?, but I’ll try to start. First of all can the Modbus TCP Server functionblocks only connect to one client at the same time, so you would need at least two instances of the server functionblocks. Using the AXC F 2152 you’ve a switched port with one assigned IP, so a client who is calling the server on the PLCs adress will also get the result from this PLCs IP.

If you would add the left side extension (AXC F XT ETH) it has it’s own IP (in another subnet!!) and will act the same.
So, the question is if your clients are (or can be) in different subnets, from the IPs you’ve posted this seems to be unlikely. But, what is you usecase, maybe there are other, easier solutions for that… We’ve a ton of different IO modules, I would strongly recommend to use our configuration tool project+ to find the one which best fits for you.
