Impossible to access to OPCua variables on an AXC F 2152 with the OPCuaIIOT node from NodeRed

Hello I use Nodered and the contrid OPCuaIIOT nodes to access the OPCua variables of the host PLC. So, that works. Now, what i want to do is to be able, with the same nodes, to access to the OPCua variables of an other remote AXC F 2152. Problems :

                                               * When I don't define any security, the node status is 'connected', but never 'active'. And of course, it returns that an error message : Error: Client Not Open On Read"
                                               * When I define some security, the node status is 'connecting', and never changes.

Has anyone made some test to access an AXC F 2152 OPC ua server from NodeRed contrib OPCuaIIOT? What must be the settings?

Hello Michel, we have not tested the described use case, but in the following node red forum, the similar issue is discussed: https://github.com/BiancoRoyal/node-red-contrib-iiot-opcua/issues/111 Could you give me more detailed information, why you need this architecture, please? It’s a customer request? Thanks & Best Regards Eduard

Hi Eduard The goal is to be able to access from and AXC F 2152 via OPC UA to a SICK device, wich is only accessible via OPC UA. So, I just wanted t make a tst with an other AXC F 2152 as the server. I have read quicly the github link, but it is not very usefull. I found no concreete answer and yes, it’s a customer request, beacuse we are actually building a fair machine to expose the Industry 4.0 features.

Hello Michel, for access to OPC UA-Server the OPC UA Client is needed, but we haven’t the official and supported library for this. The used node red distribution is not a compatibly and tested part of plcnext FW. It is difficult for us, to help you in this issue. Best Regards, Eduard
