Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not it’s possible to enable/disable input filter for an AXL SE DI 16/1.
The datasheet specifies an input filter time of < 1ms, but I’d like to see if disabling this improves the speed of my system and doesn’t result in invalid signals as the system should be relatively noise-free.
Best Regards,
Daan
Hi
Did you attempt changing the filter time?
I would like to know your or any other persons results if possible, I also have a system that I’m trying to reduce delay in response time as must as possible.
Thanks in advance
Hello.
SE series is quiet limitetd in it’s advanced config if compare to other module types. I guess filtering is binded to hardware schematic of input channel.
You can rate theoretical delay time of your system if mentioned that update cycle of IO on Axioline BUS is 0.5 ms in case of AXCF3152, 1 ms for AXCF2152 and 5 ms for AXCF1152. It’s if we use minimum allowed time gaps for configuration. Anyway you can loose one program cycle while filtering is on march…
Best regards
