Hi, could you help me, please? We are developing a code for an application with a PROFINET controller and multiple PROFINET devices, using PLCs AXC F 2152. In this application, a PLC starts as device, and it sets itself as controller depending on its IP address. We want to use the same code for each PLC, and since all the PLCs can be the controller, we must include all of them as devices in the bus configuration (including the PLC which will be the controller). When trying so, we get the error TCPP0003, because we are using one IP address and DNS hostname more than once in the network.
Previously, in our application, we used the PLC AXC 1050, and PC Worx allows us to use IP addresses and DNS hostnames for more than once in the network.
Is it possible to use an IP address and DNS hostname more than once in the network by changing some settings in PLCnext Engineer? Or is there a way to configure PROFINET devices dynamically? Or is there a way to change the DNS host name of the PLC during running time?
