Library Documentation Template

The PLCnext Store info center mentions contacting the PLCnext store admin for documentation templates. Where can the admin be contacted? Also, is it possible to include HTML documentation with libraries as an alternative to .pdf & .chm?

I am revisiting this topic. I did receive help from Phoenix Contact support via email, but I still have not achieved what I am looking for. A good example of what I am looking for is the JSON_Library. Opening help on a function block opens a static htm help file. The part I cannot figure out is how to package my static html docs with the PLCnext Engineer generated library.

Hi Rob.
Sorry for the ridiculously long delay getting an answer to this question.
It turns out that there was information on this topic added to the PLCnext Info Center a few months ago:
Providing help files for PLCnext Engineer Libraries can include help files that contain a help page for each POU. The help files can be added in the Compiled Help (.chm) format (all toolchain versions) or in HTML5 format (as of toolchain version 2022.6).

Actually reading your question again, I see that you’re asking about libraries that are created in PLCnext Engineer , not in Visual Studio, so the link I posted probably doesn’t answer your question (sorry).

I have just received an update on this question from the PLCnext Engineer developers:
“There are activities going on in the PLCnext Store team to provide some kind of template for libary help files.”

Maybe this helps. It’s part of the PLCnext Engineer help.
