Maximum number of encoders on project

Hi!

In a real application, how many encoders can you use?
I need to use 7 encoders. As a test, the PLCNext Engineer does allow me to attach 4 modules AXL F CNT2 INC2 1F (2688093)

From the Axioline system and installation manual:

… so in theory you could have 63 AXL F CNT2 INC2 modules on a single Axioline station, and there can be multiple Axioline stations in a project (by using Axioline bus couplers).
