I have communication diagram as below picture.
In which SMRT RTU work as Modbus master and IEC 60870-5-104 slave.
The connections worked fine.
But I had a small problem.
In Modbus slave device, it doesn’t support double point type, it only support single point type.
It mean that the status of device ( Open and close status) was store 2 separated registers in Protection Relay.
So, On smart RTU I don’t know to handle to merger 2 single point in to double point ( 2 single point as source signal and Double point as destination signal.
Do you have any ideas for this case
