Hello Everyone,

We have the AXC F 2152 and the AXC F 2152 starter kit, we had some demonstrations before the coronavirus epidemic and for the mentioned reason those have stopped. We request help in connecting devices to online services such as (Azure online services). The available tutorials were basically the node.js which did not provide enough information for the steps and a community-written long tutorial with SQL and some other tools. We require a tutorial either from the company or the community with detailed explanations to someone new in the field on how to connect sensors and PLCnext to log data into Azure services and organize some data analysis algorithms to better help customers. Thanks for your time reading this and any help would push us further.

Hi Just this weekend I created a node-red image with some components you might be able to use.

I think node-red might be a good start when you’re “new to the field”. Hi Ziadamr, thanks, first for being interested in PLCnext Technology and yeah also on our site did the Corona situation delayed the one or the other topic. One of those were indeed our activities to offer a flexible and easy to use MQTT Client 61131 library as well as a walk through to bring the full Microsoft Azure Edge device on the PLC. Both tasks were nearly done but need some additional days for the final cut. If you’re interested just come back to me (fwalde@phoenixcontact.com) than we’ll find ways to get you already a pre-release version. Coming back to your initiate question, of the tutorials. We were thinking indeed how we can make the integration as easiest as possible and we decided that every specific library or solution should end on the point were the telemetry is available in the certain cloud solution.

After that stage it is getting tough to offer more or deeper support as the options of the cloud service vendors leads to an extreme range of possible combination which we cannot cover.
But from our experience is this not a problem, as the cloud vendors offers normally a huge portfolio of for free webinars or code examples. But if you need a specific designed solution, we can also offer assistance by using our Phoenix Contact Proficloud The stack is integrated directly in every PLCnext Control and we can design on that base your specific solution.
