I was trying to install tornado for Python 2.7. For which I used ipkg to install python and py27-pip. After installing I am not able to use py27-pip. Strangely I see the package is installed but cannot find anywhere on the system. Attached the screenshot.

maybe it is installing as pip directly or pip2?
It worked after removing and re-installing py27-pip.
