I would like to know if there is any way to receive a notification when a new version of PLCnext Engineer, firmware or specific library is released.
It would be very useful for the maintenance and development of PLCnE projects.

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.
It might be possible to set up a mailing list for these types of notifications. I will give this request to the people here who could set this up.
Notifications about PLCnext Store apps (including PLCnext Engineer libraries) would be a feature of the PLCnext Store, so I will pass this feature request to them.

I fully endorse the concept of getting notifications for new versions of PLCnext Engineer, firmware, or specific libraries/apps. Implementing a feature that notifies users directly within PLCnext Engineer upon startup, or when accessing the WBM for possible/optional firmware updates—similar to common practices in various software—would immensely enhance our workflow in both development and maintenance. Additionally, introducing a mechanism to verify the versions of apps/add-ons included in a project upon opening it in PLCnext Engineer could further streamline project management and updates.
Additionally, including release dates for firmware and software on the product pages would be incredibly helpful for planning and management purposes.
Implementing these features would greatly aid in keeping our projects up-to-date and secure.

Hello Marcello,
For software products from our PLCnext Store, we will be offering a notification service per product later this year. You will then receive an email when there is an update for your app/lib.
There is no concrete idea yet for the Engineer and the firmware.
But there must be such a function for users.

What about just creating a mailing list?
Takes a few minutes, and users can sign up at the product page for PLCnext engineer..
It’s tiresome to manually visit your page every week to see if there is a new revision available. Same goes with firmware.
