Hey, I am using opencv C++ and Visual Studios 2019 and created a program that turns an user uploaded image into binary strands and attaches them to variables. I installed the PLCnext plug in for Visual Studio but I am having trouble adding calling the libraires in order to build the program successfully.
You should be able to link to third-party libraries like OpenCV in a similar way to how you would for a C++ application built for other Linux systems, like Debian or Raspberry Pi OS. Here are some examples of linking to third-party libraries in a PLCnext Control project: How to include an open-source library in your own C++ project How to use Visual Studio Code to write C++ for PLCnext You may need to cross-compile the third-party library(s) for your selected PLCnext Control device, using the corresponding SDK.
Thank you so much for the quick reply! I’ll keep you updated as I move along.
