Hello, is there a way to create some sort of a release package from a Pc Worx Engineer project? I would like to install this package to my controller by using a script running on the Linux part. Best regards Kevin
Hi Kevin, I don’t think there is a way to create a release package like you describe directly from a PLCnext Engineer project … I believe that PLCnext engineer stores projects on disk in a way that can’t be directly installed on a PLC. However there are two possibilities I can think of, that you could consider: 1. Install the project on one PLC, then pack up the contents of the directory /opt/plcnext/projects/ . Unless your project references something outside this directory, then copying the contents of this diectory to other PLCs should just work (although you may need to set the IP address of the PLC, and perhaps some other system settings). 2. Put your project in the PLCnext Store. 
The store is a repository that includes complete applications - like the famous “Pump Station Control” app - that can be downloaded and installed directly to the PLC. If you don’t want to make your app public, then this probably isn’t an option. Are either of these options a possibility? - Martin.
