PLC AXC F 2152 and AXL F BP SE6 - Module carrier

Help!!! Hello! I have a problem. I have an AXC F 2152 PLC with three AXL F BP SE6 module carriers connected to it. After loading the project, the module LEDs on the AXL F BP SE6 units start flashing green. Connected to the AXL F BP SE6 carriers are 16 AXL SE DO16/1 units and one AXL SE DI16/1 unit. If I remove any single AXL F BP SE6 unit, all the others start working normally. The PLC firmware version is AXC_F_2152_FW_2026_0_4_LTS.

I assume there is a hardware configuration failure in PLCnext Engineer.

Behavior: LEDs on the AXL F BP SE6 units start flashing green

Status: The Smart Element is ready to operate. Communication within the station is OK. The controller is not providing valid process data. No malfunction has occurred on the Smart Element.

Please check: The backplane slot is configured for a passive Smart Element =2

Meaning in the following table:

  1. The controller or bus coupler firmware does not support passive Smart Elements and empty slots.
  2. The controller or bus coupler firmware supports passive Smart Elements.
