PLCnext crashing

now the PLCnext on the customer site seems to crash every 8 to 9 hours. So far I have not found the cause of the problem. We only know that a watchdog alarm will be reported every time it crashes. I don’t know if It is related to Proficloud, so I would like to ask if you have encountered similar errors before ?

Hello. Sorry to hear about the trouble with your customer’s PLC. From the information you have given, I don’t have any reason to think the problem is related to Proficloud. The first step is to check the Output.log file for messages that might help diagnose the problem. You can attach the Output.log file to this thread if you want or, if you would rather send it to us privately via email, please let us know. ~ Martin.

Hello Martin, First of all, thank you for your response to my question in the forum. Attached is the Output.log file about the crash of PLCnext. From the Dashboard of Proficloud below, we can see that PLCnext was disconnected from Proficloud at 2021-02-05 17:05:48 (CST). And never connected again until PLCnext crashed a few hours later. What we have been confused about is why PLCnext does not crash immediately when the network between Proficloud and PLCnext is disconnected, but PLCnext crashes until a few hours later? Now we guess that there is a buffer in PLCnext. When PLCnext disconnects from Proficloud, the data will still be stored in the buffer. But when the buffer is full, PLCnext will crash. (Of course, this is just our guess ).
