dear developper, in my c++ application I store some information in multi-dimensional array, i was hoping i could share this array with another task/c++ program. As an outport and inport confiuration i cannot transfer multidimensional array by default, is it posible to make a user defined datatype for ports? Is there a way to sharing arrays/data between tasks in c++ with another approach? I was thinking maybe a struct could work, but how to connect a struct to the gds? sincere nick peeters.
Hi Nick, Please see this thread: https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view;=post&id;=2583&Itemid;=221⟨=en The post that Javier marked as the “solution” includes an example of a C++ struct definition, and the matching IEC struct definition that can be linked to the C++ program port. Hope this helps! Martin.
