Yes, you are correct, the default sampling period (defined in the file /etc/plcnext/device/Services/ProfiCloud/proficloud.settings.json) is 1 second. It is not recommended to edit this file, but if you did it would not be possible to set this value lower than 1 ms. However it does not make much sense to have a sampling period lower than the fastest cyclic process on the PLC, e.g. if you are sampling data that is only updated by a 100ms cyclic task, then a Proficloud sampling period of less than 100 ms does not make sense.
