Hi, I built a Demo of PLCnext using AXC F 2152 to push 3 data to Proficloud.net The AXC F 2152 is connected to the WIFI in office. And I found that some times, the Proficloud will stop receiving data by itself, but the program in controller is still running. I’m wondering is it because the unstable of the WIFI in office (as many people are using it). Or is there any other possibility? Thanks for your help. Best regards, Li Zhuoqun
Hi zqli,
in case the connection gets lost will the Proficloud stack buffer the TSD data on the device and will send it after the connection returns.
But of course is this buffer also limited, means when the connection is very very unstable it might happen that some data gets lost. You can verify this by just using a wired connection or check the output.log (/opt/plcnext/logs/) for any disconnection messages (you can also add it to the post).
Take care,
Frank

Hi Frank, Thanks for your answer. I met the same problem these days, then I go to check the log file. I found that PLC often disconnects from Proficloud, but it can automatically reconnect most of the time, and the Proficloud can keep servicing. But some time, it cannot be online again, then the Proficloud service will stop. I attached the log file snapshot for your reference. Best regards, Li Zhuoqun
Hello, as there is no Error or warning in the log file, it seems that the connection to the internet is lost. The device tries to reconnect and gets onlie if the profiloud is reacheable. However, with the new firmware 2021.0 you could use the new dashboard at www.proficloud.io , which uses new technologies and which has advanced security measures. For more information regarding the proficloud.io you can also contact inbox@phoenixcontact-sb.io Regards, Arno
