I’m working on a project where I plan to use the AXL E PN DI16 M12 6M (2701516) with firmware V2.1.0.1 / HW 02. When I run a test I have a active SF fault LED on the AXC F2152 (FW 2020.LTS / HW 02). So, to be sure, I have checked the web based diagnistic info for both components (see attached pictures). There is some warning informations for the AXL E in the controller diagnostic, but when I check the diagnostic information in the web based AXL E info - there are non. Could we please have a detailed information on those diagnostic informations and how to fix them? I was thinking that products should work together without problems.
Hello Peter, please readin the connected PN device “AXL E PN DI16 M12 6M” in PLCnEng under Profinet-Node → Online Devices and add the device to the PN-Busconfiguration. Please let me know, if the failure persits. Thanks!

Hello Eduard, I have looked with Tim at the problem today and wanted to give you an update: When using the libraries for the AXL E that is supplied with PLCNExt Engineer, we get the SF fault. When using the GSDML for the module and import it that way in to the project, we don’t get the SF fault. Tim will send the info to the system to get the libraries fixed. But my guess is, that we will first see it implemented in version 2020.6. But the option with the GSDML file works for me too. Just not a good indication for you, this should have been tested. Peter
I don’t think that this issue is resolved. Not before you update the libs in PLC Next Engineer, so it is possible to implement the AXL E modules in the way it was intended. Please fix the issue before you call it resolved. Peter
