While reading the documentation from https://www.plcnext.help/, I couldn’t fail to notice a few content issues …
Yet, I couldn’t find a mechanism to drop these issues at the PLCnext documentation team.
So, striving for prolific/improved/correct/helpful documentation, I suggest to add a feedback option to the footer of each documentation web page, similar to the implementation of the Microsoft Learn web pages.
Hints on incorrect content may then be posted by readers, reaching the documentation team for improvement.
Visual sample of a Microsoft Learn page:

At the bottom of the home page is an email address where you can send feedback:

Thank you, , for pointing me to this e-mail link!
I just tried to send an e-mail, but the recipient pointed to by the home page doesn’t seem to exist.
This is the error message I received (e-mail address masked here):
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:plcnext-docs()phoenixcontact.com (plcnext-docs()phoenixcontact.com)
Your message was rejected by the recipient’s domain because the recipient’s email address isn’t listed in the domain’s directory.
Diagnostic information for administrators:
plcnext-docs(*)phoenixcontact.com
Remote Server returned ‚550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied. AS(201806281) [HE1EUR04FT035.eop-eur04.prod.protection.outlook.com]‘
Ah, you’re right, sorry about that.
The correct email address is behind the „Contact Us“ link at the bottom of each page.
image.pngThe documentation team will fix the other link (and the one on the Imprint page) as soon as possible. Thanks for letting us know.
Thanks for reporting this issue, ! You really live up to your name!
The mail address in the text was unintentionally misspelled but that issue has been rectified now, and 4 other occurences in about 28 mail links have been, too.
Concerning your proposal for a commenting mechanism: We would love that kind of feedback but the tooling behind the Info Center platforms currently does not provide such a feature. We’ll check again how to overcome this hurdle.
Nevertheless, your feedback to all content - PLCnext Community or all three Info Centers - is welcome by mail or in a forum post.
Thank you for thoroughly watching out!
Gundula (PLCnext Team)
