I’m having an issue getting the serial comms module to work with my PLC program. I’ve noticed in the example, the GDS ports are mapped between the program and the serial comms module:
However, I can’t see how to do this in my program:
The relevant drop down options are not there. What am I missing?
I wound up copying all my programs into the example, so that the GDS ports were already assigned properly. This had the unfortunate side effect of having to roll back the firmware on the PCL to 2022.9 as that was the firmware used in the project.
Is there no way to manual assign the GDS port mapping?
